Rush Limbaugh detained for drug possession in the Dominican Republic.I rather enjoy this guy's humiliation, but I'm not the least bit zealous about the damn drug war. But the problem is this fat sleaze has probably done more than anybody (before he got popped) to get Republicans in office who have kept the drug war going

Homeless veterans, tax breaks for the rich, soaring deficits, and a coward in the White House. I don't like your version of America and I have the right to say so...err until Republicans take that away and give it to the rich.

I wouldn't say the case is typical. But the Bush cuts to veteran's services are. The use of Depleted Uranium and the failure to equip our forces properly are VERY typical. I'd be interested in how these decisions can be defended.
