Haha, well, I usually don't have trouble but my Pikachu and Vulpix are a bit...picky about what I call them.

It's kind of hard to tell, honestly. Pokémon are way different from regular animals, they can actually understand what you say.

...Although the only pet I've ever really had was a magic cat, so I probably shouldn't talk.

I noticed that, too. They respond to their name much better than normal animals. Did your magic cat listen as well as your pokemon?

Blair can actually talk and she pretty much has a mind of her own, so...not really. I think my team actually listens better than her.

Not surprising, cats are known to be independent; I guess it doesn't matter if it's magic or not. I was surprised how well mine listened, but I only have two.
