Tonight's the night I have finally agreed to let
jbsegal remove my ancient, unbootable PowerMac 7500. I haven't used it in several years now, but I had an emotional attachment to it nonetheless, so I would just like everyone to realize that this is a big deal to me.
Things I have found while cleaning:
- A empty cobalt blue tincture bottle (gave it to kimberlogic
- Two-count-'em-TWO "Minions of Nathan" buttons (one large, one small)
- A very old Ericsson cellphone
- The manual to a Nokia cellphone I sold to mycroft a couple of years ago (mycroft, do you want it?)
- A cute little figurine of a bride and groom mouse in a teacup that trowa_barton gave to me as a pre-engagement gift
- A working LED mini flashlight
- Two condolence cards on the 2003 death of my grandfather
- Some old birthday cards
- A notepad with the lyrics to a poem/song I wrote in 2003
- A button saying "I want to have a cunt and eat it, too"...I'm not exactly sure why I own this button, as I am neither lesbian, gay, nor MTF :)
- A jar of elderflower hand cream from Neal's Yard Remedies, which I will take to work and use all winter
- A small envelope containing 4 tablets of Vicodin from an ER visit on 11/20/2003, for which I don't remember the reason for prescription and which I never used stomach pain that had sent me to the ER, which was diagnosed as H. pylori gastritis via a blood test about a week later
- A tube of Elocon prescription cream, prescribed in 2004 for some reason I also don't remember probably some kind of skin irritation, as it turns out to be a corticosteroid
- A nice purple wallet, never used, but I might now
- A tourist map of Florence
- A tin full of coins, some US and some foreign
