Xmas +/-
+ Arrived at Miami airport early and had extra time with MiL on the way
- Chicago weather delayed our plane by over 3 hours
- United failed to inform us passengers of this, leaving us to find out by having to check the arrivals/departures board 10 minutes after boarding should have begun...they are going to bloody well hear from me about that
- Paid for a wifi day pass that failed to work...they will also hear from me about that
+ Flight was otherwise uneventful once we actually became airborne
- Some minor miscommunication with cab driver on the way to the home of kimberlogic's dad
+ Xmas Eve dinner with kimberlogic, jbsegal, xlii, corwin_, ceciliatan, and K's dad, sortakinda stepmom, and brother was delicious and companionable and lovely
+ Managed to wrap all presents before going to sleep
+ kimberlogic managed to wait until 8:17 a.m. to wake us up, despite having woken up at 6:00 a.m. herself ;-)
+ Many excellent gifts were exchanged, including a laptop manufactured in the 21st century for me (ZOMG!!!!!) and a black Utilikilt for trowa_barton (teh sexay!!!)
+ Tasty breakfast was consumed, including mimosas, xlii's grandparents' amazing mini mince pies, spiced eggs, and the awesome wild rice porridge that jbsegal makes
+ Decadent, long afternoon nap
- Right shoulder and arm still hurting like a bitch, with deltoid muscle in spasm and causing pain when gravity acts upon it, and will probably require a visit to the doctor when I get home
+ Marathon viewing of BSG at the behest of K's dad allowed me to see a few episodes that I'd missed previously
+ Stayed in pajamas all day long
+ Tasty leftovers for dinner
+ Seeing my parents tomorrow
