Ugh. The ice on the walk in front of the house is so thick that an hour of chipping at it only cleared off a third of it. As for the driveway? It is to laugh. It's completely glazed with 2-3" of very hard, slick, glossy ice. I tried making some headway, any at all, but was completely thwarted.
This is not what I wanted when I wished for winter weather. I wanted real, fluffy, New England snow, not this mid-Atlantic ice storm crap! I could've stayed in Maryland for that. Sheesh.
