He has been endorsed by Gov. John Bel Edwards and appears to have good liberal stances on important issues. His Republican opponent has the lead in polls. However, she is now raising money to fund a recount of votes in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. As tb says, "There are many political reasons for the Dems not to be the ones asking for the recount. Clinton ('Crooked Hillary') has to look squeaky-clean here. If it gets the job done I'm okay with Stein 'grandstanding' (as she's already been accused of) in this case."
