You know the drill by now...someone gives you a color, you name 10 things you like/love that are that color.

Red (from shadesong):

1. Poppies...I know they come in other colors, but I always think of red ones when I think of that particular flower.
2. Apples...again, I know they come in other colors, but the ones I like best tend to be various shades of red.
3. Raspberries.
4. Red wine, which I used not to like, but have learned to appreciate.
5. Rooibos tea.
6. The way Trowa looks in red, a color that quite suits him.
7. Blood. I like having enough of it to maintain life. I donate some when I can.
8. My hair, which isn't properly "red" per se, but as long as I'm called a redhead, I'm claiming this one.
9. The Red Line, which gets me to work and back, not to mention other places I like to go (frequent fuckups notwithstanding).
10. Pomegranates.

Purple (from trowa_barton):

1. Amethysts.
2. That shade of purple you sometimes see in the sky during a sunset.
3. Purple nail polish.
4. The chuppah from our wedding, dyed a deep blue-purple and painted in gold by klingonlandlady.
5. Purple bearded irises.
6. Bird feathers that are naturally purple, especially when they're also iridescent.
7. Violets.
8. Purple houses. I'd love to paint my house purple if I owned it.
9. Liatris flowers, which we used in our wedding arrangements.

For red, it's mostly about food and flowers. I can't wear that color, as it clashes with my hair and is all wrong for my skin tone. As for purple, it's mostly about flowers and our wedding. As long as I stick to bluish-purple hues, it looks nice with my hair and skin. I own quite a bit of purple clothing.
