NYE 06
New Years Eve 2006 (what a blast !)
So the last week or so has been rather eventful. New years eve was fabulous. Brad and I ended up going to the Masqurade in Atlanta for thier Annual (and final as I understand it) New Years eve bash. I had been there last year and had had a good time so we decided to play it safe and go somewhere that we (or atleast I) was familiar with. Last year it was local bands and a DJ. There are three levels to the club. They are called Heaven, Hell and Purgatoy. This year we were shocked to discover that in Heaven there was a band, in purgatory a DJ and in Hell was a Burlesque show. So what did we do for New Years Eve? We danced a little and then we watched some very beautiful woman dance for us. I have to say that they were all gorgous as well as being fabulous dancers. I have never seen a professional Burlesque dancer before so this was an extreamly educational experience. I think Brad enjoyed it too: p. Anyway, after that, we counted down to midnight and had a lovely NYE kiss (until the beautiful people started throwing ice at us. Odd but true ). We then proceeded to fall asleep in our IHOP pancakes in the wee hours of the morning. BRILLIANT!
So since then I have been at Tech for The Woman in Black which I am currently ASMing. Great stuff. Super spooky. The sound effects make your skin crawl and you still have to remember to hand a diva actor his hat and props. Great stuff!
Anyway, Happy New Year to everybody despite the fact that it is a little late :)
