Introduction post

Hi everyone! Newbie here, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I first started reading The Violinist of Hameln-Shchelkunchik then moved on to the original series and ended up marathoning the manga until 5am (and I only made it as far as volumes 19-37!) ^^;; Yes, I have a tendency to read things backwards... I was surprised by how addicting the manga is, despite all the goof-ball comedy that goes on 70% of the time. I haven't gotten through all of the manga yet (I've back-pedaled to vol. 11 >_>) but I have some questions:
I was thinking about watching the anime but I've heard the ending wasn't good and I was wondering what you guys think about it and whether it's worth watching.
Also, could you guys recommend some good VoH or VoHS fanfics? I find myself shipping Hamel and Flute but I like the other canon pairings too, but there doesn't seem to be much on fanfic dot net.
And lastly...could someone upload the zipped files of the manga for me, please? I tried to download it from the original scanslation site but it's not working. ;_; I'm sorry if this isn't allowed; I'll delete this request if that is the case.
