i missed the boat

i was going to attend the student bar association booze cruise on friday. unfortunately when i stepped on the boat i started to get nervous. i was there without a date, friends, or anyone to talk to. the bar was open but i got the sense that if i started drinking and didn't have a good time i would probably spend the evening puking on a boat in the middle of lake michigan. so, with fifteen minutes to go before the boat left the dock, i jumped ship.

i am so lonely.
