Chapter 1 Chapter 2
“A fairy?” Kame repeats, smiling.
“…who’s called Sumeragi Chiaki?” Maru adds.
“Ueda, are you sure you’re getting enough sleep?” Taguchi worries.
The young man sighs.
“Yes, I know it’s ridiculous but it seemed so real…”
“Yep, so real” Jin cuts “that he asked me to see the fairy in his dressing room yesterday.”
Koki starts laughing.
“I thought your fairy period over.”
Ueda shakes his head. He understands his friends don’t believe him as he isn’t fully convinced himself. After all, the fairy’s left.
“Yosh, think I’m off for today.”
“You don’t want to go and have a drink with us?” Maru asks.
“ No,” he answers “apparently I still need to get some rest. Have fun.”

Oh my, why on earth is the traffic so bad at that time of the day? It’s not usually like that. He gets out of the taxi and starts walking. He’s not very far from his flat anyway. The only problem is that it’s winter and it’s f****ing freezing!
Streets become less crowded. In the dark, he doesn’t feel very confident 〜 crap, the fairy succeeded to scare him. He walks faster. He’ll be home soon. But he can’t help feeling uneasy. He has to keep cool. Suddenly he hears a noise behind him.
“Catch him! Quick!”
He turns round and can see three men running toward him. Crappy crap! He starts running too but soon they’re next to him. He fights back but soon he feels his energy leave his body. On the ground, he doesn’t know what to do.
“Su-Sumeragi Chiaki” he whispers.
It’s silly, really. What does he expect? He wanted to call for help but her name was the only thing he was able to say. Why?
A strong pain on his head makes him loose consciousness a moment.

“Tat-chan? Tat-chan? Are you ok? Can you stand up?”
He rubs his head and tries to stand.
“Who are those guys?” he asks.
“I was going to ask you the same question.”
That’s when he realizes that the person next to him, the one helping him to stand up is the fairy!
“You!?” he exclaims.
“Who else were you expecting? You called me, ne?”
“Yes, but.. well…”
He gives up.
“You ran them away?”
She nods and asks:
“What did they want you??”
“I’ve got no idea” he simply answers.
“Anyway, are you alright?”
“I guess… don’t worry.”
What the hell is he doing? He’s reassuring a fragment of his imagination now. Because that’s what it is. There’s no other explanation. The bang on his head must have been stronger than he thought;
“I’m taking you home” she says.
“I think I…”
Whatever.

Ueda sits down on his sofa. His head still hurts. The fairy gives him some ice.
“It should help” she explains. “Have you had dinner yet?”
He shakes his head.
“I’m taking care of that then” she smiles.
“You know how to cook?”
“I get by.”
Is there really a fairy cooking for him in his kitchen right now? His head is aching too much for him to bother about it. What bothers him much more is what happened tonight because that was real (even though the police think not!).
After a few minutes, the fairy is back with a plate.
“O-mu-rice 〜hope you’ll like it.”
“Thanks” he simply answers.
He starts eating. Hum, it’s not bad. It’s quite good actually. He smiles.
“Ne, ne 〜 Tat-chan. I think it’ll be better if I stay with you now.”
He nearly choks.
“I mean,… till we don’t know what those men were after, it’s safer.”
She does look serious.
“Why not…”
“Yatta〜” she says brightly.

“What the hell are you doing?!”
The fairy is in his bed. She looks at him, surprised.
“You don’t expect me to sleep on the floor, do you?” she asks.
“And where am I supposed to sleep then?”
She pats gently the empty side of the bed.
“No way!”
“Stop being such a baby! The bed’s big enough for the two of us!”
He’s too tired to start arguing again. He lies down next to her. But soon enough he can feel her moving closer to him. He sits up.
“You stay on your side! or I won’t think twice before throwing you out of the bed!”
“I can’t even have a little good night-cuddle? Can’t sleep without it…”
He looks up. He knows she won’t stop till she gets what she wants. So he complies. He takes her in his arms and gives her a small pat on the back.
“O-yasumi 〜”
