I'm starting to amass a few items now. The most recent are the Lithuania and Latvia pin badges I bought from a group order
osoroshia ran and the Estonia Movie mascot, which came today and was bought from
sarepthegreat.
It's interesting to see how prices can differ depending on the seller. While most of the items I have have been bought from sellers on LiveJournal, the Latvia Movic mascot I own was bought from a seller on Ebay. The difference in price is quite striking. For the Estonia mascot I paid £4.93 but for the Latvia mascot I paid £28.32. The seller I bought the Estonia mascot from was also selling a Latvia mascot. Basically I could have bought both of them for less than half the price that I bought the first mascot for. Especially now with university, I should probably be more aware of the price that I'm paying for items. Since I heard from somewhere that the Movic mascots where quite rare it was a bit of an impulse buy.
It was a while ago now, so I'm not going to get too hung up on it. Latvia is my favourite of the trio and it was the first non-trading card item I obtained so I am quite fond of it. Soon I should start taking photos and organizing things on this journal. I've been keeping a spreadsheet of items I have, when I received then, how much I paid etc. It's very convenient. Since it seems like items are cheaper when bought from sellers on LiveJournal I'll probably just be keeping an eye on
hetalia_sell in the mean time.
