Crazy Weather
Todays weather is INSANE! It's like a blizzard out there. As expected West Chester School district canceled for the day, but also as usual, I still had to drive on it to work. The way in through town, my tires spun for a while when I tried to move forward at a stoplight. There was ONE child there the entire three hours I sat there in the old Y building. ONE. Seven councilors, ONE child. I left around 10am and gave my best friend/co-worker a drive to the PAL program building to post it was canceled. What does this mean? It means I spun and slid and almost hit a bunch more stuff. West Chester does not clear its roads or salt them, barely at all.
In their defense, apparently the snow here is falling at 1 to 2 inches and hour, and the wind is blizzard speeds. It's pretty much a white out every now and then when I peek out the window. I can't say I was happy for the snow this time. We could get 10 inches before it's all said and done.
