Oh, how I love 2nd graders!
I have found that I do not enjoy Biology. I wish I did. I suppose if I actually understand it, it's okay, but I mean...diploid haploid chromosome chromatid chromatin homologous pairs! Also the fact that it is the last class before lunch and I have not eaten since 6:30, I think makes a difference in my concentration. GRADIENT! AH! See what it has done to me!
Today, I fasted. In Hal's world, fasting= not eating lunch! and...I did not eat anything at school! Yeah...when I woke up, I forgot it was the fast, so I had a waffle. Damnit.
Okay. I LOVE THANKSGIVING! It is definitely one of my favorite holidays! Why, you ask? Because of the fooood. Yes yes yes! Spanakopita, mashed potatoes, butter gems from the Jewish bakery in Rochester, big salads, stuffing, and... PIE PIE PIE!
I love pie. Love it. I was talking to Ari yesterday about how much pie rocks. Pumpkin pie is my favorite. Oo fun! Plus, my dad is a pie miser and likes to experiment with crazy pies like this one called a "black bottom pie" that has a layer of dark chocolate and then this creamy custard stuff. My mom hates it, but my dad keeps on trying to make a good one seeing as most of the ones he has made, have failed. Ooh! If one feels obliged to answer...WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE KIND OF PIE?
There are too many corduroys in my house. Not that I am complaining.
