love v. infatuation

whats the difference? can it be the same?

How about infatuated with love? That's a possibility too. Or loving someone's infatuation with you...

I have a pretty good idea of what infatuation is, but I'm still not sure what love means. Everyone has their own idea of what love is, which further blurs the concept for me. If I could choose its meaning, I would choose "to care very much about someone" so that I would have less of a hang up saying "I love you" to whichever romantic partner was in my life at the time.
