Well I have been busy and putting of this journal entry just will not do.
So here we go… the flight down was smooth and very enjoyable, I arrived in Santiago around 7’ish [2’ish Pacific] and was picked up and ushered about to Quamers (Chilean fur) abode. I washed up and as I was brushing the chops when Gabe showed up to finally meet me… well it was a quiet moment as he walked in… the actions I perceived *Magllanic walks in… bag drop…. Hug <3* best freaking part of the trip.
Well I stayed in Santiago for about two days and was off to La Serena, an old costal town north of the capital. Anyways, it was hot but pleasant; the air was very dry though, the immediate area around the home we were staying in was pleasant but a tad boring. ^^
But I very much enjoyed the markets and the university, oh and the beach was awesome *sand drawings*
Also learned some little basics on drawing while I was in town, helps to live with an artist… and no time on your hands, so there may just be an artist in me yet ^^; Maybe.
The trip back to Santiago was also pleasant, though I slept little…
I was stressing out over having to leave Felipe, to return to Canada and my old life. If I knew enough Spanish, I would have applied for a dual citizenship.
To summarize my trip, I have to say that it was well worth the saving. Moreover, you do not need to have some one you love down there to enjoy the nation. It is a gorgeous country with some extremely cool looking mountains and coast lines, not to mention the rich culture that is now under the control of Don Francisco, and his cell phone selling ways.
