(no subject)
Currently, still unemployed and yes, I have an excuse (or two) for it...unemployment benefits have been really delayed ("6 to 8 weeks") so that means I'm going to be in the New England area for that much longer..which means probably past X-mas time, which I will not complain about. This gives me a good reason to spend the holidays with family and friends..and with that extra time, I can put forth that much more time into looking for another gig...the jobs are out there but with unemployment being on the high side, there are more candidates and competition looking for work...
Another reason for still being unemployed: I haven't seriously been searching..I may have applied to like 3-4 jobs a week for the past 8 weeks..so this week, I ramped up the search and feel pretty optimistic about my near future...as I mentioned, the holidays are coming up and I'm gonna need some spending cash for gifts and whatnot...besides the lack of $$$ coming in, I'm losing whatever respect and patience that I've had for my father every day I'm living with him..this might be better saved for a post where I'll have to vent my frustrations..
On another note, I started playing World of Warcraft again..I figured I have the extra time, why not? ;-)
