I found this old "Camulet Baking Powder Recipe" book when I was digging through old papers to make textures of. I had completely forgotten that I had it. Along with it, I found "Sea Foods: How to Serve Them." They're pretty old, I'd peg it between early 1900's into the 30's. The day before yesterday I picked up some anise extract. I think I could drink the whole bottle and be vehemently ill it smells so good. I think I'm going to have to find some recipe that has anise extract in it now, because it was sort of an impulse buy. So nikuman and mochi were both made. The mochi was taken over to Maki's house for the sleepover and the nikuman left at home for my mother and my father.
