Solar Lighting continued

Well Tyler has completed his first week of being back to work, and hates it. Can't say I blame him. This has inspired him to look at starting college yet again, so his grandma Zoe (who works at U of M) came over last night and talked with him about it. He also made spaghetti and we all had a nice dinner together.

The roof/gutter/driveway guy did my estimates yesterday. He was super nice, but after finding out concrete driveway prices, I'm definitely not getting one. Also, he got up on my roof and looked at it, and told me that it still has another 10-15 years left on it! The shingles were curling up in part due to the tar paper wrinkling, and also he said that the ventilation for the roof might not be flowing well. The last part made sense because of the huge bird/squirrel nest we found in the soffet the other week. So if we inspect it all this summer and clear out anything else that might've been built in there, it should help.

I also saw Natalie for the first time in a while. I took her the rest of a delicious VGs cake that I needed to be saved from. We hung out for a while, and after I told her about my solar light project, we went to Walmart to get her place some lights.

Earlier in the day, I bought the rest of the solar lights for my project. I now have 40 decorative around the house's flower beds, and 2 spotlights at each door. When Natalie dropped me off after Walmart, she saw them and said it looked like an airline landing strip, LOL. She also said I was nuts. Probably true, but the lights look beautiful now that it's dark. The spotlights (which were only 2 for $20 instead of 8 for $20) put out a huge amount of light, so I'll probably reduce those to 1 per door and move the extras around.
