So
Deathboy were dutifully driven to Liverpool and back on Friday. Bloody long day. Was awake for just over 25 hours in total. Felt like shit at the end of it and had managed to get eye strain from all the driving. Their gig in Liverpool was unfortunately plagued with technical issues. Be they from a blown pa through to some git messing with the mixing desk post sound check.
Sykotic Tendencies had the best set out of all the bands that were on. He was a one man industrial power house.
Tin Omen were good as well but that was when the technical gremlins started creeping into the venue. Great bunch of people and I would go and see them if they ever play local.
Saturdays Deathboy gig at the Underworld was great. A full audience cheering and clapping from the end of one track and into the start of the next. Most certainly made up for Friday nights gig. After I sauntered off to the Devonshire and just chilled outside for a few hours before heading home. Wasn't really in the mood to drink due to being so tired. I'm not sure how many times I introduced Lee and Michela during Saturday night but it did get to the stage were they were taking the piss.
On a final note. Flag Promotions have now confirmed the line up for Black Celebration 7.
