(no subject)
So decidedly, I am a moron. I managed to lose my credit card holder last night and in a fit of paranoia I froze every single one of my accounts. Amusingly enough, I got home from work today and saw it sticking out from a pile of leaves in my driveway.
Dumb.
Dumb.
Dumb.
So I must wait for all my new cards to come in the mail.
Work isn't much different from normal, I'm getting better with dealing with irate customers. However, my temper is extremely short with my subordinates. My review for my raise was excellent, aside from the comment directed to my intolerance for ignorance and ignorant people. Realistically speaking, the employees I have problems with should have been fired a long time ago. My boss insists that good help is hard to find these days, and that their replacements would be just as bad, if not worse.
Physical therapy isn't going as well as I'd like. My shoulder is getting stronger, but it isn't fixing the grind in my joint. My therapist seems to think that it might be a problem that my therapy won't fix, which isn't reassuring. I'm toughing out the pain for the sake of toughing it out, but it seems to be a losing battle.
Looking forward to Halo 2 coming out on the 9th. Got the day off and my copy prepaid for. Pseudo-caught up in playing Deus Ex: Invisible War. One of the few games I've actually enjoyed playing in a while, aside from Psi-Ops. Silly me bought Psi-Ops for PS2 so I can only play it when I'm at Thomas' house.
Thomas and I are doing well I think, though I haven't seen much of him lately. Our work schedules conflict the majority of the time. I decided that we need to start being more money conscious since we plan on moving out soon. We should realize that there needs to be an extra $500 or so in our account for rent every month. I don't want to experience a culture shock come February when we are struggling to pay the bills.
