*start the water, clearly. the other way is just DUMB. you get blasted with cold water...plus you risk burning your poor boobies if you turn it too hot too fast, rather than just your fingerses.

*very rarely. if i get a new brand, sure, or if i'm SUPER bored, or if i'm unsure about proper rinsing/repeating protocol.
