I really hate filing. Hardly the point of this post, but it is quite a stand-out in my life right now. I have piles of files sitting on and around my desk, but they do make a lovely pedestal for my knitting in the skylight's sunbeam.
But on to the knitting! I made huge progress this week on my new project, the Persephone scarf by SmarieK, while the boys left me all on my lonesome. This is the Plum Yowza! yarn from Miss Babs, which I got for free, and I love love love the color. What do you think though, is it too dark for the cables to show well?
It's 103 degrees outside and I'm making a wool scarf. This is not actually insane, since my office is freezing and I wear a blanket and sweater every day. I wish the scarf were already done so I could wrap myself in it.
