Felt Hair Falls

On Saturday, Ellen and I broke out some spare roving and attempted to make felt dreads. She wants a rainbow set of falls for her Rainbow Dash costume at Dragon Con.
We basically followed this tutorial, but mostly guessed at the process based on past experience. They turned out pretty well! We still have to play with the size and length to make sure they are exactly what Ellen wants, but overall they look good.
Next, Ellen has to get more roving in primary colors so she can finish out the set. Then, we have to figure out how to attach them to her hair, since Ellen wants to make it look like a mane instead of just covering a bun the way a fall would normally attach.
