I have built a tree house... it's a "you and me" house

I had a very long, exhausting day. I rushed our storyboard and presented a prototype for Usability Engineering class. We made this dumb wire sculpture of a horse-drawn carriage for Art Appreciation--which was tiring to do because the wires were super hard to bend. And then, our Philosophy midterms--for which I almost did not sleep just to finish at least 3/4 of the supposed coverage--got postponed, yet again. Believe it or not, my nose actually bled.

Tonight just doesn't feel right for some reason. I have this unusual headache that's making the back of my head sort of numb. This is the first time that that part of my head ached unlike the usual searing pain on my forehead. Anyways, I think I'll try to turn things around by catching up on my weekly manga. This week is one of the rarest weeks that I'm late at it. Thanks to the wireless Internet we have here which chose to go haywire on me for days.

It's just the fifth day of the month and I'm only a hundred pages shy of finishing my March book! I've been reading Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner since last Friday--the same day I finished my only February book: The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera (which I loved for its deeply philosophical way of analyzing the characters!). I just had to leaf through this book sooo fast because of the very dramatic story. I was so curious about how things will turn out that I didn't notice how fast I was going. I love how the characters were developed and Hosseini's very moving and heartwarming way of telling a story. I want to finish the book tonight and move on to Hosseini's latest novel: A Thousand Splendid Suns.

It's crazy how I've been rushing home during Wednesday nights for the past couple of weeks just to make it in time for the 8pm broadcast of American Idol on Star World. I even skipped a class just to be home early. For the record: David Archuleta is the seventh American Idol. Unless Carly Smithson beats him to it.

The Prince of Tennis manga is over! I can't believe how it ended on the sole week I wasn't updated. Obviously, the series did not end on its best; it had better days than its last. Nevertheless, I'm glad that it ended okay. My weekly manga fix is down to just three series. I'm going to miss my weekly tennis action.
