Geez, It's Been a Long Time.
Wow, I can't believe this thing is still here. I haven't updated it in months. Sorry about that. >D I've just been really busy. Let's see... what was the last thing I talked about? I have no idea. Ah, just talking about work. What a lame entry. :P I notice LJ has a new look. I haven't even checked my Friends page in a long while now. Like a week or two. :P Ah well. Infinitely better than MySpace still. Well, here comes a big entry. >D
Well, what've I been up to... hmmm... worked a lot. Went rafting again. I'm gonna have some pictures of those to post online. I'll probably post a link here or just show you guys individually when I do. Man, it was really fun. We went on Class IV rapids with a bunch of nooby rafters(Thanh's Family), and they really made it fun. After all, rafting is most fun when you just ALMOST blow it big time. Not actually when you do blow it. And if you don't come close, that's just boring. :P But there were so many close calls, it was exciting as heck. ^__^ In the Tunnel Chute, we all went underwater again. That's always the best. Not quite as deep as last time, but it was pretty drownerific. :P Clayton went literally flying when a wall of water hit us. I caught him up around my chest. That was pretty awesome. And then we got stuck up against a rock for a bit, and we started to go under, and we managed to pull out of that, too. Good times. I wish they had pictures of that stuff. But there's never a camera when you need it. :P
Ok, what else. Oh yeah, joining a co-ed softball league. We've had a few practices and stuff, and I think we're all right. We could use some better female players on the team, so if any of you are in the area and are available every Thursday night from now until January/February, that'd be great. :P And why is it that girls always want to pitch? Kelen and Cari both wanted to, but they both suck at fielding at such close range, and they're not very good at the art of pitching either. :P I wanted to play left field, but everyone decided to put me on the pitcher's mound. So go figure. :P And we need a better team name, I think. Currently, we're the "Dirty Sox", so if you can think of anything better... really ANYTHING... don't hesitate to put your suggestion in that little box below. >D I thought we should be "America's #1 Commodity" (if you don't know what this references, click this link) but everyone thought that was too long. Then on the roster, there's like a billion other teams with longer names than that. :P Well, anyway, suggestions welcome!
What else? What else? Oh yeah. My brother turned THIRTEEN yesterday. Geez, I remember when he was like... |---| this big. He was so cute. He'd always want a piggy back ride and to hang out with me. And do silly crazy things because he was totally awesome. I was his bestest buddy. Man, those were the days. TT___TT I could make him laugh in his sleep when he was really young. Like two or three years old. Maybe four. He was obsessed with that movie "Little Giants" if any of you can remember that, and I'd have my football gear on, and say, "When you pass it to Spike, you put it HERE! BOOM!" and that'd always crack him up. Even in his sleep. TT___TT Ah well. Good times. Like when he'd wear a bucket on his head and go around saying "My name is Habib." So cute. TT____TT Now look at him. :P Grown uppish and not nearly as cute. :P And always trying to beat me at everything. >D I've still got a bunch of good years ahead, though. Years filled with kicking his butt at everything. >D Then to retire at the pinnacle of victory.
Well... that pretty much sums everything up, I think. Maybe I'm forgetting stuff. I dunno. Oh yeah, I saw Alex a few weeks ago. Was it a month? I dunno, it's been a while, but over on his journal, about a dozen entries back, there's a picture I took with his camera. You can even see me in it if you look closely. phizzypop said that I look like a house. But she also said that photo looked fake, so what does she know? :P Ah well. It was nice seeing Alex again. Um... man, it's getting late, and I feel like I haven't covered everything. I probably haven't. :P But I need my sleep. Work in the morning and all that. So, goodbye for now.
