Just came second 2nd in our poker tournament and netted a respectable $200. I only brought a six-pack of beers with me because I wasn't even expecting to make it past the minor round. Little did I realise I'd be at the tables for a solid 11 hours and make the finals.
Missed out on the $700 first prize, but considering it was a field of 24 players I reckon I did well.
That not only paid for my buy in, but it also puts me into the black for my "career" balance. Woo! \o/
