You know what I hate? Do you? I hate people who, as soon as you acquire something new and nifty that you're pretty happy with, have to immediately tell you something bad about it. It fucking shits me. Seriously. At first I didn't really notice, like the first 100 or so times, but at some stage it just dawned on me what an incredibly prickish thing to do it is, and frankly, makes me want to kill motherfuckers. I think people who constantly commit this offence have some deeply entrenched flaw in their character that makes them assholes.

You know the type of person I'm talking about. Say you buy a car and you happen to mention it in conversation (not even being smug about it) and their instant response is something akin to:

"Oh, you bought one of those? My friend bought one and he's had nothing but trouble with it."

Thanks a lot, knobshiner.

Or how about some nifty electronic gadget:

"I've heard nothing but bad reports about those things. People are complaining all over the internet."

Well of course they are, shithead, that's what the internet is for - a place where people whinge and bitch about stupid shit.*

I mean, where does it end? Am I going to have a child one day and have some asshole say to me, "A baby hey? You know, I hear even if you take good care of those things they always die after 70 or 80 years."
