I meant to write a poem about how you've changed my life
How about you've inspired me
To step outside my box
to be more open
and spontaneous
and how you give me energy
and peace
and calm
and quiet
and noise
and comfort
about how we're refreshingly honest
and how its always ok to be silly
when we're together
how we think alike
how we think differently
How the love is unconditional
and the amount of support is just right
How I know that if I needed you
You'd be there as soon as you could
I meant to write this poem
because i was listening to songs that make me think about you
Because I don't think you know
that you do all these things for me
without me ever having to ask
