Don't panic...

The itching problem I had turned out to be a rash. I went to the emergency room Monday morning and finally got to leave at around 11:40am after being admitted at 8:30am. I'm not really complaining too much, I wasn't in immense pain or bleeding to death... Anyway, they said the rash (which is on my stomach and neck, primarily) wasn't contagious, could not be spread, wasn't caught from another person, and most likely came from the air vents in my dorm room. The nurse practitioner who looked at me says she works part-time at the clinic on campus and she has seen at least 4 other people who live in the North Dorms that have the same rash. They prescribed me some steroids and Benadryl, and when I got back on campus, I reported the issue to the Housing Office.

Also, Thursday, I'm scheduled to receive a monetary award at the English Department Luncheon. I wonder why... Oh well. Pictures will most likely be available.
