(no subject)
We went to Fish Lake over the weekend to spend some time with Lance's family at their cabin. I always love spending time with them. We just hung out and our puppies played together. We got to have a campfire and bbq hotdogs and make recees smores. We went to Smallwoods and sampled all the goodies there and I bought a few things to bring home- spicy green beans! YUM!
Ken wasn't feeling well most of the weekend. He slept a lot on Saturday but really wanted to do something fun with us while we were there. He got up and went with us to Smallwoods but he got tired and was ready to go long before Joan was done shopping. We left early Sunday morning- Rainy woke us up so we just decided to pack up and go home.
Later we went to the Free Roll and I got 4th place and $90! Then we played live and Lance go the high hand for $100. Together we brought home over $360! That's always nice to make some extra cash!
Lance's sister will be in town from Utah this weekend so I'm sure we will go over to his dad's house for dinner sometime. We have to finish preping the floor since the lay down will begin the following weekend. Lance asked me last night if I wanted to have "date night" this weekend. I don't think we will have time though- always seems to work out that way. We've never really had a date and I think it would be nice. I'm sure we'll get to eventually.
I got a raise at work- I finally broke down and asked for one. They even back payed me from April (my two year point) So now Lance says we can talk about getting me a new car. Mine is paid off so it's nice not to have a car payment so I'm on the fence. I WANT a new car but there are so many other things we could spend the money on I kinda want to wait.
Guess that's about all thats new...I'm going to try update more often so I can have something to look back on.
