(no subject)
Dear Zombie Sir Francis Drake,
It's Day 1 of the second week of second semester, and nothing very interesting has happened so far. However, Winter Formal is coming up, so hopefully things'll get more interesting around here.
In other news, 3 more ficlets for Minotaur. Also, I have officially decided that once The Minotaur and The Sidhe are finished, I am going to re-write Other. Because the way I have it written is total crap. It's a good story, but I started off clueless which pretty much ruined it. So for those of you who miss Other, it's coming back. Eventually. It's on my to-do list. However the sequel to Other is most likely going to end up as a Part Two instead of an actual book, although that could change if a) Other is long enough and b) I come up with a title for the sequel. Oh, and a plot. Because for the sequel, I know how things go at first, but it has no middle or ending. But it has dead people. In a jar. Also yelling. Whenever I get around to writing it.
Any suggestions for things I should change in the new Other? I already know I need to drop a few characters; or maybe just add some more to the "Ded List". Although honestly the "Ded List" is kind of long to begin with. So basically suggestions would be nice, so bloody comment with them!
Also, I cannot wait for Winter Formal! This year it's going to be at the Cummer Art Museum, which is awesome; they have some really beautiful gardens there, although I'm not sure I want it to be all outside considering how cold it was at the Homecoming Dance. I already have my dress, and I cannot wait to look awesome in it although I haven't planned my makeup yet.
And next weekend, I'm gonna go to the Battle of the Bands where my step dad's band Blade will be playing. In fact, they're currently practicing for the Battle of the Bands right beneath my room. Dammit. It'll be fun though, seeing as I have been ordered to "dress metal". The real question is what to do with my hair; any suggestions? I'm considering the four ponytails thing, but that kind of makes my head hurt. I actually haven't picked out an outfit yet, but it shouldn't be too hard to find something Goth-ish but cute. I already know I want to wear a skirt or dress of some variety, so that eliminates a few outfits.
Also, in trend-setting news, I am bringing back letter-writing as a fun way to spend time! Try it out; it's interesting. Also the latest phrase I've come up with is "ASAFP". As in "If Caitlin doesn't get here ASAFP, she is totally gonna miss the show".
William's mom is letting him grow his hair longer, and oddly enough, it looks kind of like a Chia Pet. As in "Ch-ch-ch-chia!" He doesn't find this nearly as amusing as I do. XD
How did I manage to forget what baking cupcakes is like? I baked a batch of awesome last night, and they sort of inflated. They were not delightfully domed; they were escaping from their paper cups to battle Godzilla. I covered them with some icing and barnyard animal sprinkles, so hopefully no one in PRISM will notice on Wednesday. Also, in the process of making these, I burnt my hand, and it looks really nasty now. :(
