I Will Not Lose -- Period.
I'm not one for drama and shit, but I won't back down from anybody -- no matter who they are, and what they read. Especially if they are reading this.
With that said, I think I'm going to go on for a minute (in a not-so-understandable fashion -- so keep up with me.)
Having recently returned from Florida over Thanskgiving Break, the kid is once again preparing to depart cross country -- this time back home to the 201 (West New York, New Jersey 07093) for Christmas/New Years.
This news comes at a rather fortunate time for me -- considering dealing with being homesick is a trial in itself (As a matter of fact -- I find it to be the most trying tribulation in my life at the moment.)
Its been about 3 years since I've been home for Christmas/New Years, and I think its about time I revisit my concrete jungle roots.
I will not be venturing alone this time -- my other half Meghan Mallory will be accompanying me to enjoy my type of season celebrations, and I couldn't be happier. We will occasionally have the misunderstanding of me not wanting her to go, but the only reason on this planet why I wouldn't want her to go is because I know how hard it is to be away from family for the holidays, and it is not easy to deal with.
All of you shaking your heads right now, you'll find out when you move away from mommy and daddy.
Anyway, I'd just like to thank Meghan for sacrificing her time with her family over the holidays so that she can spend them with me and mine.
