I hope your friend cleaned the spanish moss before using it... be wary if he's been "itchy" lately.

Those costumes are so cool. I just threw on some paint, but from what I saw Halloween in my area seems to be dying out.

lol...EVERYONE here in Florida talks about chiggers. "Ooh don't touch that, chiggers!"...but we've all been handling stuff like this for years and never got a single one. I think they're farther north.

Seriously? I'm from Mass and no one here even knows what they are. They drilled into us in my parasitology class "all spanish moss has chiggers!" Lol

In a parasitology class? Really? They should know better than that, I'm positive that's just a myth. I don't think Chiggers target any particular plant!

Our friend Jennifer took most of the photos, she went as Lydia from Beetlejuice!

Dude...

1. Your mom is uber talented and creative

2. So are you are your friends, the look of your costumes as an ensemble really works even if it wasn't intended to be one, and they are all verrrrry creepy

3. WTF on that pumpkin?? I love it and I want one, what kind is it? Did you paint it, or is it a special one that is that color naturally? It's a great break from the traditional look of a jack o lantern, and it's great!!

It was the only one like it in a pumpkin patch, I'm not sure what it was...a gourd of some kind I guess, since it had a waxy skin and green-yellow flesh :0
