This feels exactly like NSLC last summer.
Pump it up OXY Pump it up! Pump it up Oxy Pump it up! O-X-Y! Haha I love our orientation leaders, they have the greatest school spirit I've ever seen, and it's pretty damn hard not to LOVE a school that has so much enthusiasm! They've been keeping us crazy busy with lectures, skits, games, dances, carnivals, performances, etc. It's definately been an experience, and a good one at that.
I love my roommate, we get along FAHHHBULOUSLY, and my hall is BY FAR the best one on campus (with the exception of our serious lack of a closet). I even have a pet fish named Papillon who lives next to my desk in a pretty little plastic container. Originally, I won two fish at the freshmen carnival, but I found poor Gaston floating last night :( Papillon seemed to enjoy swimming repeatedly into the dead Gaston until we had a guy down the hall pick Gaston up with his fingers and throw him out. GROSS.
I miss you all; it's SO weird and quite lonely not having a close friend nearby, but I LOVE Oxy and am thrilled for the next four years.
