ROSA FARRELL (dropped)
Cecil's wife, whom he had lost all memory of, thanks to the long wars of Cosmos and Chaos. Since then he has been eager to regain his memories. With her help, they began to return. Guilty about forgetting his love, Cecil swore to protect Rosa with his life, and usually fought alongside her in battle. When she and other Cosmos warriors were kidnapped by Chaos' forces, Cecil spearheaded the rescue effort to save her and the other captives.
Recently, Rosa was returned home before he could regain his memories of her, something that deeply grieves Cecil.
Cecil's childhood friend and rival. Like Rosa, Cecil had no memory of Kain, though in many ways he can draw parallels between him and Golbez: both were manipulated in the past, both fight for Chaos, but their true loyalty lies with Cosmos and with Cecil. He has no desire to fight his friend, and is grateful for all the assistance Kain has provided thus far, even if it has labelled him a traitor.
In the power swap battle, Cecil accidentally made Kain explode killed Kain in self-defence when his friend's darkness took over and he turned on him. Cecil was deeply shocked and guilty over harming him, but has forgiven Kain entirely for his betrayal.
KAIN HIGHWIND
Cecil's brother and only surviving family. Having forgiven him for his past actions in their world, Cecil has since formed a deep attachment to him during the last war. Heedless of what other Cosmos warriors believe, and though Golbez himself believes his darkness has stained him beyond redemption, Cecil is insistent his brother is not evil, a belief affirmed in the last war when Golbez helped to guide him to his crystal.
Cecil wants nothing more than to work alongside his brother instead of being forced to fight against him. Golbez replied: 'Maybe someday... If the light should smile upon me.' Cecil still waits for that day to come.
GOLBEZ
The recently-crowned King of Damcyan and a friend of Cecil's. He remembers little about him, but he likes the bard and would like to get to know him better. He understands how Edward feels about not wanting the war to end and being parted from Anna once more, but he knows it must end.
EDWARD CHRIS VON MUIR
Edward's beloved. Cecil regrets her death, and felt it right to apologise to her for his brother's hand in it. He's glad she has had a chance to reunite with Edward, however briefly.
