Well... Was that really called for? Calling the cops? I've never even stolen a Pokémon... [He's not lying, either... Cleo only grabs people's possessions, not their monsters.]
And now I have to hide away, when I could be staying indoors, relaxing. Ugh.
Still, I'm sure I can make the best of it. [He grins at the camera before switching off the feed.

The cops are after you?
This is how surprised I am.
[And then she proceeds to stare dully at the camera in abject silence.]

[He'll play along for reactions.]
How interesting... Our reactions were both quite.... similar, when we found out about the other's 'criminal' activities. Perhaps our friendship needs better trust?

... You know, one of the ones that hide in sewer drains.
[You can't be a horror character without paying a little homage to the pros every once in awhile.]
[In any case, she raises an eyebrow.]
You call this a friendship?
Reply
But at the reaction to 'friendship', it spreads into a shit-eating grin.]
Oh? What do you call it, Heather? [He seems so mock-cheerful.]

I'm not sure the English language has words for what I'd call it.
Maybe German does. It'd be like fifty syllables long and impossible to pronounce.
But friends don't send friends to go talk to homicidal lunatics without actually mentioning the part about how they're homicidal lunatics.
[Yeah, Heather's still pretty buttmad about that. She can forgive the fact that Vincent's magnificent plan for defeating Claudia had wound up being a total dud (... maybe. She still thinks he's a dumbass), but telling her to look for Leonard without mentioning the fact that he was violently insane and would probably try to kill her? NOT COOL.]

Would you have gone if I had?

[Onto the question...]
Honestly? ... Yes. I would've. If it meant having a chance at stopping Claudia, I would've. [It wasn't like she hadn't already been fighting for her life on a near-constant basis there anyway, and Leonard was far from the worst thing she'd encountered. .... Although she wasn't gonna lie, he was still pretty bad.]
But if I'd known, I could've been more, y'know, PREPARED when he wound up being a frothing evangelical FREAK.

Interesting... I would have told you, if I had known. [That was quite possibly a lie. He hadn't told her about Leonard being a nutjob lunatic.]
But that doesn't matter now... You're fine. [If you don't remember, he wasn't. :I Claudia made him pay for his 'sins'. Crazy bitch.]

You knew.
[There's no uncertainty whatsoever in that statement. None at all. He led the cult... made a point of knowing its members. Had to know how to manipulate them. Even though she hadn't overheard the conversation he'd had with Claudia where he actually admitted to knowing how Leonard used to hurt her, she knew he HAD to have known.]
The mental hospital records said he was in there for STABBING somebody. Besides, you probably saw him every fuckin' day and listened to him rant and rave. You knew.
[Whoa okay she got a little mad there. Extinguishing the tremor of rage from her voice, she turned her tone back to sour.]
You'd have been totally okay with me NOT being fine, so yeah, uh. It matters to me. [It had occurred to her, in the year or so that had passed at home since that horrible night, that sending her to Leonard might well have been a win-win decision on Vincent's part. After all, either she'd get the Seal from him, or he'd kill her and then Claudia's plan would fail even HARDER, right?] You ( ... )

I was referring to Leonard being... that thing. [He tries to hold back a shudder, himself; the monsters- the idea of those monsters, they scare even him, just in the slightest.]
I knew he was insane, if that was what you wanted to know. But you already thought there was something wrong with all of us, didn't you? ['There's something wrong with you, too.'] I figured it would have been for granted.

[She does, however, arch an interested brow.]
[... That 'thing'? ... So ... Vincent does admit that the monsters were real... Whether that was a slip-up or whether he'd given up the charade of trying to psych her out with implications of unknowing mass murder, Heather can't help but feel a little burst of triumph at that. I knew it. She tries not to let it show on her face.]
I was talking about the insanity, not the fact that he looked like the Thing from the Black Lagoon. By that point? Monsters didn't surprise me much.
Either way, I'dve liked to have known that he was more likely to try and cleave my head off of my shoulders than actually want to help. Would it really have KILLED you to mention that little detail?
[Sure, she thought everybody in Silent Hill was crazy... but... was it really too much to stay hopeful for allies? :(]

Vincent's never seen the monsters, but that's because he's careful- perhaps. Vincent has,m however, heard the sounds, heard the footsteps and the moans, seen the blood and tarnish that the Otherworld had created in one way or another.
And so he takes a mocking stance and tone.]
Thing from the Black Lagoon?
His state of mind was Claudia's business, not mine to tell.
Reply
[She ignores the mocking.]
Uh, yeah, when the world goes to hell in a handbasket and I have to go deal with him directly in order to DEFEAT Claudia? It BECOMES my business.
