Fourth Psalm || [Video] Evolution VS Religion VS Trolling

[Vincent's relaxing in what looks like a hotel room, which seemingly , he seems to be feeling quite roomy in. As he sits back in the chair, his legs up on a near-by table, he begins to smirk.]

Isn't it interesting? The way these creatures move, the way they interact... the way they evolve. Or as it seems, my Pokémon evolved. Perhaps that is the way ( Read more... )

[She's definitely not comfortable videoing this one. So she brings up her voice instead.]

God...? What do you mean?

[A slight pause.]

You know Heather? Are you... another friend of hers?

God. Our saviour that will take us to Paradise... Which is definitely not this place.

[He shakes his head.]

I'm not a friend of Heather, exactly, but more a friend of Alessa.

Oh... you're some kind of... religious person, huh?

[A beat. Boy, that sounds awkward. She speaks a little hurriedly.]

Wh-who would ever think this was paradise? I-it's not terrible, but... it's no Heaven.

Alessa? Who is... Alessa?

A priest, if you'd really like to know.

Claudia Wolf. The fanatic, nutjob priestess.

[He grins that Cheshire Cat grin of his.]

I'm going to tell you a story, but I won't repeat myself so remember it, okay?

A young man came to a town called Silent Hill, searching for his daughter... There was a young girl- Alessa- and she... she was important to the local religion [He saw how they treated her. He was only young, but he saw.] The man's daughter was actually the split soul of Alessa, and so when they combined, God was formed... [To cut things short.] God gave the man a baby... She gave him Heather. [He doesn't see how it would hurt to tell people here, considering the entire rebirthing project has been stopped by this annoying transportation to Johto- not that he's entirely complaining of course, but they could have at least brought him to a place where he has a bit more power to his name...]

That... that explains what Harry was saying.

[Her voice is mumbled, slow as she tries to make sense of this. Was this story true? Was the man just messing with her? Of course he was, surely, men weren't to trust...

But hadn't Harry said that Heather was seventeen... despite his child being seven when she was lost in Silent Hill seventeen years ago?]

You really believe this?

...You already know Harry, it seems.

I saw a lot of it myself. From the borderlines.

Yes. He spoke to me when I came back. We're... we're from the same world, so... Uhm. He told me a little. Just not all of it.

I guess... anything can really happen in that place, huh?

You're from Silent Hill? Hm. You must be a regular townsperson.

Ha. You don't even know the half of it.

quebrado_angela August 26 2011, 13:59:20 UTC
N-no! I... I went there, but... Mama was from there. That's why. I was looking for Mama. I didn't come from that town!

[She takes a moment to breathe, her attitude shifting sharply.]

What do you mean by a "regular" townsperson anyway? That I'm not part of whatever was going on there before the town became empty? You're acting suspicious.

'Mama'? [He scoffs.] Did she leave you?

You have to be a non-regular townsperson to find out... [Otherworld, pretty much. But heck, Vincent can't help but troll.]

N-no! She didn't leave me. And that's none of your business!

Something to do with the fog? And those things...

I was just curious. There's no need to get angry.

Ah, so you've experienced the fog... And the 'monsters'.

[Letting the question pass - for now.] Yeah... I don't know what it is or why it's there. But that entire town is... wrong.

hallowbethylies August 26 2011, 14:30:23 UTC
Wrong? Are you sure you don't mean fantastic?

Reply

quebrado_angela August 26 2011, 14:34:24 UTC
You'd call that fantastic? That place of fog and fire and death?

Reply

hallowbethylies August 28 2011, 11:34:35 UTC
Perhaps fantastic wasn't the right choice of words... Fascinating should suffice.
