That earthquake scared the shit out of me.
I was on the computer when it started.
It felt long, I could hear a lot of noise.
Thankfully Jim was home sleeping with Nathan.
I ran and yelled for him to get the baby and he already had.
I told him I was going to get Cole.
I can't tell you the feelings I had not having Cole with me for his first earthquake, especially this big.
The Northridge earthquake is responsible for my desperate fear of quakes now.
I used to like them prior living in the Bay Area, it's just not the same now, especially being a mom.
I was at Cole's school within 4 minutes. I flew.
I was happy to see the kids all lined up outside safe.
The phone was ringing off the hook.
Parents were showing up taking their kids home early.
Just waiting for aftershocks now.
I'm just happy to have both of my boys with me now.
I know I don't have anything to worry about, but I just feel better.
Only one thing fell over at my house, so that is good.
Jim built this house very well, so I feel safe in here too.
