Bad timing

I wrote to my high school art teacher last night. I think I visited her once after I graduated, but it was within a couple of years of it. I had gotten her addy from an old classmate.
She was by far my favorite teacher. Yes, she was an art teacher, and it was my favorite/best subject, but she was awesome otherwise. I really felt she believed in me and had real hope I would do something with my art. She made me feel like I mattered during a time when my mom really made me feel worthless. She even gave me an award at graduation for art when there were plenty of other students she could have given it to. It was kind of sad that I felt ashamed receiving the award thinking the whole time, my Mom would rather be here for me accepting an award for the highest grades, not good drawings.

Whatever, I digress.

I gave her a short update and forwarded her my halloQween website so she could see some of my art over the years. She was one person that I thought would really appreciate it and I wanted her to know I didn't let all of my talents go to waste.

Well, another classmate wrote me last night and said my domain name had expired!
WHAT???
Dammit!
And of all of the bad timing, when finally someone who I would really, really want to see it, now can't because I'm an idiot and let it run out!
I'm such a dope!

Well, some little angel who appreciates art must have been looking over my shoulder because my teacher wrote back saying she saw it a couple of weeks ago! I have NO idea where she got the address from, but I'm so glad she got to see it.

Now, what to do about renewing it? Money is tight. I highly doubt anyone wants to snatch up that name, but I guess I should keep up on it so I don't lose it for sure.
