It's a shotgun update! Ready?...
GO!!!
I've fallen back into the game of Magic. Dusted off my cards from way back in High School, and it's good times all over again. Unfortunately it's just another convenient way to seperate me from my money.
Ebay is the devil... no it's not! I love Ebay!... No! I hate it! I love to hate it! Dammit! I'm spending more money again... so many bargains... but... must save... must not spend... money... What's this? Magic Cards on Ebay?! Nooooo...
Still with my girlfriend. It's been nine months. I love her more everyday.
Happy late Winter-een-mas everyone!
Work is very slow... too slow... it's a bit scary. I hope things pick up again soon, which they tend to do in February. But still... frighteningly slow.
Online amigo of mine sent me a webcam via the mail. It was a very kind and selfless act on his part, and I can't even begin to describe how much I appreciated the gesture alone.
Webcam has a great purpose! You see, my girlfriend is working, and going to school. We don't get to see each other as often as we would like, but now with a webcam here at work, and one at her home (one I lent her from home), we can e-conference and see each other, if only in the virtual/internet sense. Again, very thankful to my good amigo who sent me the webcam.
Tried to get my old Sega Genesis working... it didn't respond at all. No power light, nothing. It may as well be a hunk of plastic and wiring. I cried on the inside.
Valentines day has historically been not the best of days for me. This year, that changes... slightly. I'm still looking forward to it, don't misunderstand. However, between my work, and my girlfriend's school, we have less time to see each other on that day of all days. Just means we have to make it count.
This weekend went shopping for art supplies with my girlfriend for one of her classes. Stepping inside that store... well... everything was just calling to me. Everytime I see a sketchpad, design pencils, a kneaded eraser, something inside me reaches out. Well this time rather than reach out, it full on tackled and latched itself solidly onto one thing in particular in that art store. The most beautiful drawing table I have ever seen... I must make it mine!!!
Again, I'm being seperated from my money!... but it's so good... argh!
