It's so easy to forget about being single for a little while. When I start thinking about my job and the jobs that I really want or moving out and starting my life, I completely forget about not having another person to share that with. And that's kind of nice. I know it's been said before, and probably in much more eloquent words, but being able to make big decisions without really consulting anyone (except your mother on occasion) is one of the greatest benefits of not being in a relationship. I can decide tomorrow that I want to move out and pay $1000 a month for rent. It wouldn't be a wise choice, but I also wouldn't have to wonder if my significant other was going to judge me for overspending or be upset that I didn't want him to live with me. I can change my life in an instant without having to ask for permission or forgiveness. That's awesome!
