Demi’s POV

Mmmm, comfy bed. It would be more comfy if I wasn’t hear things going on in the house. I hear something, not sure of what it is because at this moment I am too lazy to open my eyes to see what’s going on.

I was just about to drift off into dreamland when I hear fog horn go off in my room. As soon as my eyes popped open no one was in my room.

Selena’s POV

As soon as I used the fog horn I took off from her bedroom. Not wanting to get caught, I pass on the fog horn to an innocent Jake, who is barely stepping out of his room. “What?” He said confusingly.

I didn’t answer him considering I didn’t stop running until I was in the kitchen with Tiffany. “Why are you running?” She asked me. I put a finger up to my lips telling her to keep quiet.

“What? No!” I could hear Jake from upstairs followed by a thud. Maybe giving him the fog horn wasn’t the best idea.

I ran back upstairs only to see Jake trying to crawl away but Demi grabbed his feet to pull him back. I took a hold of his hands and pulled him in my direction. Jake was stretched out in between us. He was groaning in pain of being stretched, “Let go of him!” I yelled out.

“Not until I get my revenge!” She yelled back.

“I did it!”

“What?” She asked as she let go of Jake, which caused him fly into me and us falling to the floor with a loud thud. At this point both we were both groaning in pain. He rolled off of me and lay by my side. “You did it?” I nodded as she pulled me and Jake up off of the floor.

“I’m going to eat.” Jake said as he left the scene rubbing his back.

“Why?” Demi whined.

“Because you’re a manager now, you can’t sleep in like you use to.” I said.

“Oh yeah, but it’s just the bed is so comfy.”

“I know, but you have to be like the rest of us humans and get the regular eight hours.”

“Fine, but I won’t like it.” She as she walked away and I gave her a light smack on the butt. She slightly jumped and turned to shoot me a glare. I didn’t take it seriously, so I just chuckled.

It was only recently that she became manager and I became a bartender. I realized my job was a little better when you’re talking to drunken people. It’s hard to believe that a whole year already went by.

I made my way to the kitchen where the other three were already eating breakfast. I grabbed myself a bowl of cereal and sat down at the dining table. We eat in silence just about every morning. We keep to ourselves until we get to work. I guess thats how drama begins sometimes.

Drama has been kept to a minimum this past year. Miley hasn’t done anything…yet.

“Are you supposed to be in school?” I hear Demi asked.

“No, it ended like a week ago.” Jake said.

After breakfast, or brunch considering that we woke up at noon, we took our showers. Demi goes in at two and the rest of us go in at four. It’s Monday, so it should be an easy day.

----------------------------------

I’m working with Joe today. He became more like a brother to me. He actually started dating Tiffany not that long ago.

Already a half an hour in and everything seems to be going good.

Miley’s POV

Demi in a manager uniform is so hot. Nothing can bring down the crush I have for her, not even her girlfriend.

Loud tapping had gotten me out of my thoughts. I look at who was in front of me. It was a guy with light brown, shaggy hair. He’s in uniform but I haven’t seen him before, he must be new. “What can I do for you handsome?” I have to get into my flirtatious mood.

“I’m Gregg, new server.” He looked up at me must of notice my flirty eyes. “I’m sorry I already have a girlfriend.”

I am a nosy person, so I have to ask, “Oh, what’s her name?”

“Selena.” What?! Could it be?

I pointed to Selena at the bar, “Is that her?”

He looked over to where I was pointing, “Yeah, that’s her. I’m going to go say hi.”

“You do that.” This is too good.

He walks towards the bar, her back to him.

Selena’s POV

I was getting the servers’ orders ready to get pick up while Joe gets more ice and bus tubs.

“Hi Selena.” My head shot up. I know that British accent anywhere. I turned around and there he was, Gregg.

“H-Hi.” I stuttered.

“What? No kiss for your boyfriend?” Boyfriend? He still thinks were going out? I’m still shocked, so I didn’t move from my spot. I think I jinxed myself with the drama bit.

“When did you move back?”

“About two weeks ago.”

Before Gregg could say anything else Joe came back. “Hey buddy, what can I do for you?” Joe said to him.

“I’ll just go find a manager.” He said then he looked back at me, “Can we talk later?” I nodded and he walked away.

“Who was that?” Joe asked.

“Gregg, my boyfriend.”

“What?!” Joe exclaimed. He gained the attention of the very few people sitting in the bar. “What do you mean boyfriend?” He asked in lower voice.

“He moved away couple of years back. When he left I told him that we needed a break. He understood, but not the way I thought he did.”

“Meaning you never officially broke it off.”

“I thought it was implied.”

“We guys comprehend things differently. He probably thought that you were waiting for him or something.”

“We can’t let Demi find out about this. After last year, I don’t think I can handle anymore drama in my life.”

“You have to tell her sooner or later.”

“I pick later.” I’m actually scared of how Demi would react to this.

“No, the sooner the better.”

“Okay, but before I talk to her or him, can I talk to you later?”

“Of course, what is it about?”

“I’ll let you when we talk.” He nodded and went back to work as well as I did.

The worst thing I have realized during my relationship with Demi is that I’m bi. I wonder if I have to tell her that or if that would probably add more to the whole Gregg thing.

--------------------------------------

It’s about an hour and a half before closing and I’m off. I’m just sitting at the bar waiting for the other three get off from work. After tending to a guest at the bar, Joe walked up to me. “So, what did you want to talk to me about?”

“I have realized something while being with Demi.”

“Is it a good thing or a bad thing?”

“It depends how you look at it.” I only say that because I’m not really sure myself.

“Okay, what is it?”

“I’ve realized that I’m bisexual.”

“Oh.” That’s it?

“That doesn’t help me, what should I do?”

“I honestly don’t know. Did you have feelings for a certain guy?”

“No, I just feel the attraction towards them. Do you think I should tell Demi?”

“Well, she is your girlfriend. I think she deserves to know what’s going on sometimes.”

“I’m just afraid of how she’ll react.”

“Maybe she’ll be understanding.”

“Not if I tell her about Gregg first.”

“Oh, yeah. That would complicate things.”

“Ya think?!” I buried my head into my shaky hands.

Emily’s POV

“Did you get that?” I asked Miley who is on the other end of the walkie-talkie. She had me as well as her listen in to the conversation.

“Yeah, we could put this information into good use.” She said to me over the headset. I actually felt bad for doing this, but we were running low on gossip.

Alyson’s POV

“Can I have that back please?” I asked Miley for my headset back. She did with a devilish smile on her face. I almost want to ask her what she was planning.

“Hey Alyson.” I hear Nicole’s voice over the headset as I put it on.

“Yeah?”

“Can you come to the kitchen?” She asked me.

“Sure.” I took off the headset once again. “Here, watch the door.” I told Miley as she took the headset out of my hands. I got out of the hostess stand and walked to the back. I went towards Nicole’s usual spot for to-go’s. “Hey what’s up?”

“I just found out that Selena’s bi.”

My jaw dropped, “Are you being serious?”

“Yeah, that’s why Miley and Emily were talking over the headset.”

Oh crap. “Whatever they’re going to do we have to stop them.”

“Agreed.”

“I’ll get Selena and bring her back so we can figure out something.”

“Okay.”

I walked back up front and walked to where Selena was sitting at the bar. “Hey, can you to the back? Nicole and I have something to tell you.”

“Um, okay.” She said confusingly. She got up from the chair and followed me through the other entrance of the kitchen that was on the other side of the restaurant. We stopped when we reached Nicole. “So what did you want to talk to me about?”

I didn’t know what exactly what was going on, so I let Nicole explain. “Well, we kinda heard your conversation with Joe.”

Her eyes went wide. “How?”

“Emily was listening in and using her headset to let others who are wearing one listen to it. Miley was also listening.”

Selena’s hands went up to massage her temples. “Who else wears the headsets?”

“The….front managers.” I said slowly. This couldn’t possible end well for Selena.

“This has been the crappiest day of my life.”

“I’m sorry.”

“It’s not your fault but thanks for telling me.”

“What are you going to do?” I had to ask.

“I don’t know honestly. This is not exactly how I wanted to tell Demi.”

“Well, think of something quick because her she comes. We’ll stand right behind you.” So Nicole and I did.

Demi’s POV

I was walking up to Selena in the kitchen. She had Alyson and Nicole standing behind her. “Selena, I’ve just heard-” I began to say but Selena cut me off.

“I’m aware of what you’ve heard.”

“Care to explain?” I said angrily. I have never have used this tone on her.

“I was going to tell you.” She explained.

“When?”

“Tonight, but not like this, not through someone else.”

Now moving on to the next question, “Who is Gregg?”

“Uh, he’s my boyfriend from high school.”

“So he still is your boyfriend? Was I just somebody to cheat on him with?”

“No!”

“Then what’s the deal?”

“He moved away a couple years back, I said we needed a break. He took it that we were still together.”

“Are you going to tell him?”

“Of course I am.” She’s crying now and it was because of me. I walked up closer to her and pulled into a tight hug. “I’m sorry.” Maybe I shouldn’t have snapped like that, she would’ve told me. I have to admit some guys can be a little bit dumb. Wait…..isn’t that new guy name is Gregg?

“Gregg’s the new server, right?” I asked. She nodded against my shoulder. This is going to be an interesting….however long he stays. That could be awhile. I wouldn’t like to be in a love triangle. I don’t want to compete for my girl, but I will if I have to. “Do you want to sit in the office while we finish our shifts? Phill is the closing manager, so I’ll be getting off soon.”

She nodded against my shoulder again. We pulled away from each other but I still had my arm around her waist, guiding her to the office. I used my key to get in. I walked in with her. She sat down on one of the chairs. She folded her arms on the desk and laid her head on top.

“I’ll be back soon.” I said to her.

“Okay.” She said weakly.

I went back out front to finish what is left of this shift.
