I hope you get your rights to marry whoever you want :) But I do believe Bush was trying to make it up to the State, not actaully make it illegal

No, no, youre wrong my dear. And Im not quite sure where you got your information but I am quite active in Gay rights and very aware of where Bush, and Kerry, stands on it and I can tell you with upmost certainty that he(Bush) DID infact try to push a bill thru congress about 4-5 mos ago (that got denied btw, and was a huge WIN for the gay community ) that would have banned Gay-Marriage on a Federal level, therefore taking it OUT of the hands of the states. That totally negates your statment of " But I do believe Bush was trying to make it up to the State, not actaully make it illegal"

This wasnt a bitch fest, I just wanted you to be truly informed with the elections coming up and all. Hell, youre probly not even old enough to vote anyways so you shouldnt even worry your little head about all this grown up stuff that the older generation has to put up with.
