So... on to happier things.
I've decided to write a quick summary of my november since I didn't really write any entries last month.
First off,
My show went great!! Everything went according to plan! I didn't miss a single line and the Audiance was SO RESPONSIVE! They were cracking up! I was so thankful!
I had a monologue in scene three. I was the only one on stage for the entire scene. I was so nervous about it, but it went perfectly! They thought I was funny!
My director, Christina Cherry, wrote me an email the other day and here's what it said:
"I had the class talk back about our show yesterday, and Bill Register told me he thought you had a great sense of reality on stage, while still being able to hold on to the style of the show, and that during your monologue he "was wrapped around your little finger"! That's a great compliment!"
This has definitely been rewarding! In more ways than one. The cast and I have become very close friends while working with each other!
Over all I think it was one of my best performances. I honestly owe it to Christina! She was such an inspiring director!
Adam show is over too now, and he was so amazing!! It was crazy because in the program when I read the cast biographies they were all seniors and musical theatre majors. Adam was the only sophmore in the show! You couldn't tell at all though! I swear he was better than most of the seniors up there! No joke. I was so proud!
Oh and Adam and my parents FINALLY met for the first time!!!! My Mom came up to see my show and Adam's parents came to see it too, so we all went out to eat. They got along so well! It was amazing! They really hit it off! I'm so glad I don't have to be one of those people who have feuding Inlaws!
Dude, and our parents have totally agreed to let us get an apartment together next year!!!! YAAAYY! I hate dorms... hate em.
Oh and for this upcoming spring semester Adam got a dorm change! He's now living in an on campus APARTMENT! Which is so nice! It's really a big apartment too. crazy.
Let's see what else? I changed my major to Mass Media Production.
and...
For thanksgiving Adam and I drove down to Shreveport. That was fun! Sooooo much food.
Now I'm already done with most of my classes. Just two finals left! Then I'm going to Shreveport on a train for Christmas.
