045. Christmas Eve and snow
It's not very Christmassy here. It still feels really weird to me that Christmas is not celebrated until tomorrow here. That's just not right! :P Matt has been at work today, I've been sitting in the front room watching Black Books and working on my stripey crochet bag. I've made swede casserole, sweet potato casserole and mushroom salad for tomorrow. Might have to go soak in the bath at some point later today because obviously there's no sauna here. Well, at least it looks quite Christmassy outside as we still have plenty of snow.
^Wolverhampton was a big mess on Monday and I had to walk home because there were no buses. Oh well, at least I had Matt and his friend Andy for company, and I was wearing my Finnish winter boots that are actually WARM and have a decent grip.^
^We didn't have any mail this week until yesterday, so there was a huge stack of mail - most of it for me. :D I had to go to Dudley to pick up some parcels as the postman couldn't carry everything. I don't normally get this much mail in a day! :P I wish...^
