After the weekend? Try before the next ice age...

In the last installment I said I thought I'd separate out fannish and other content in different LJ's. So far I haven't made much of a move on that, because in the process of trying to, I realised I'm not even sure where that divide falls. I use this journal to keep in touch with non-fannish friends, mildly fannish friends, fannish friends and ( Read more... )

I know the problem. I liked the writing journal/non-writing journal thing in theory, but then I got a lot of fannish friends on the writing journal who don't have the RL journal friended, so I have to comment with the writing LJ or they won't know who I am. Then if I have non-writing-but-fannish thoughts, then it feels odd to post them on the writing LJ, but that's where most of the people who might be interested are. It's a pain in the arse at times.

Yeah I know right? I have a writer's journal where I put all my poems and stuff, but then again, that's kind of different. I don't write in there very often, but it comes in spurts. I have a few people in there, but I don't let many in due to the content. People under 16 aren't allowed. I have one sixteen year old in there because he's mature enough to somewhat understand the stuff in there. Anyone else, though...yeah.

one of the reasons I'm thinking of changing this journal name, is so that there's more of an abvious connection betwwen me and my writing journals.

H - could you just filter the heck out of your posts, so it's the same location, but different sub-sets?

Good luck working it out. I definitely qualify as non-fannish, I believe; I'm a lot more interested in keeping up with you than any of the characters you write about, as interesting as they might be as well. =)

Please drop me an e-mail and let me know the name of the other journal, and what your IM details are.
