So, again with the posting. The urge to put my LJ in winter storage continues unabated, but I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that okay, I'm not deleting yet. If only because
nopseud posts the post-Apocalyptic Popslash flocked. Duh! Also, I'm still reading and commenting. So, I'll probably go back and p-lock most of the stuff here. I wish I knew where I'd seen that utility though. Will dig through FAQ or google later.
But yeah, keeping it around is a good idea. Where else would I rant that I get home from an appointment where doctor B documents problem Y in joint X, to find a letter in the mail from doctor A assuring me, with great certainty, that no such problem exists anywhere in my joints. Dude. Well, at least one joint is being treated correctly. Well, hopefully. If they can figure out what to do about this freaky, unusual, what-the-hell-is-this-and-what-on-earth-are-we-going-to-do-about-it documented problem. :) (It was so much fun to see the obviously odd test result. Reproducible, even! Acknowledgment, man.)
Here's the mark of a good doctor though: They ask you what your treatment goals are. Several different times, even, and they listen very attentively to the answer. This is especially good if you don't particularly feel the need to be treated for the pain, just the freaky odd way it moves. :)
