I'm at work again today, but suprisingly when I came in Angela and Kevin asked if I had heard about what happened...
Our funeral home is located at 1100 Greenleaf ave in Wilmette, we are considered "downtown" Wilmette..
Two blocks away yesterday a man killed himself, his wife, and her son who was only 17.

On a semi lighter note, I've been pretty good.
I was suppose to come to work yesterday but I just could NOT get up.
I guess because I know that after this week, I'm going back to school next week
and then I don't have a break for 6 months straight haha.
But at the same time I know that we could use the extra money and this is
one of the only times that I will be able to work extra since I have no break
until graduation.
I'm suppppppppppppper siked about MORGUE!!
I go in exactly one week, it will be every single Tuesday from 2-7.
I'm really really nervous but I'm totally pumped.
Only 6 more months of mortuary schooollllllllllllll YES
I'm exactly half way done and I cannot wait to graduate so that we can
get the hell outta Illinois! Haha, I mean Illinois has been good to us
and we are not depressed or anything, but it is way way way too
fucking expensive to live out here, especially since I'm a student and
we're living in an apartment.
Once the warm weather hits, which I'm hoping will be SOON
the time is going to fly by like crazy. I CAN'T WAIT.
My birthday is soon :D
OH and I'm making a blanket... I'm really pumped about that as well.
I'm crocheting it, I spent like 2 hours in the JoAnns on Saturday night haha
it was a blast, I could spend an entire day in there looking at shit and
thinking of all the stuff that I could make. ANYway,
So I bought some washable and dryable yarn that was on sale (go me)
and I'm, what I like to think, about half way done the blanket...
It's going to be square because it is from doing one big granny square
I already know the colors of the second one I want to do and I'm going
to make that one more like a normal blanket and I'll sew the little
granny squares together.
Alright, I guess I'm gonna go eat some lunch and pretend to do some work,
maybe go downstairs and fold some of the sheets cus I know that will be the next
thing that Ange asks me to do. Or take out the recycling.
PS - I think I'm gonna drive by that house tonight just to look...
It's only TWO blocks away. If I went outside of our funeral home
and stood at the funeral home sign on the corner of 11th and Greenleaf,
I could see the police tape.
