Christmas is a-comin'!
You know what bothers me about the song Santa Claus is Coming to Town? The lyric, "he knows if you've been bad or good / so be good for goodness' sake." If you're good for goodness' sake, it doesn't matter if Santa Claus is coming to town. If you're being good because Santa Claus is coming to town, then you're not being good for goodness' sake.
Other than that, I love Christmas music. Today is all-Christmas music day, because I have a Thanksgiving dinner tonight. Not tomorrow, because we're all working tomorrow. I can't wait for Thanksmas dinner sometime in December. That's the mid-season meal on an off day, because we all work on Thanksgiving and Christmas, unless the holiday falls on your regularly scheduled day off.
I want to go skiing on Friday. We'll see if I still have money by then. Last night we watched skiing videos of Vermont, and it made me really want to go. We don't have much snow here in the valley yet, and there's only 80cm or so on the mountain, but it's getting there. I also want to go sledding.
Winter things I need soon:
Waterproof gloves (mine were lost or stolen - most likely stolen)
Snow pants
Snow boots
Warm socks
